Dear Alice,

My boyfriend doesn't 'pre-cum.' Could there be something wrong? Or is it common? All the other guys I have been with have not had this problem.

Dear Missing the love drops,

This is not a problem. If you're talking about the few little drops that come out of a man's penis soon after he gets an erection, it's possible that your boyfriend is having some pre-cum, but that the amount is not enough to notice (especially if you're both busy...). There's nothing physically wrong. Putting on a condom before you start having vaginal or anal intercourse is wise, as that pre-cum (the wee amount you can't see) might contain a few stray sperm and the HIV virus, although pregnancy and HIV transmission via pre-cum are much less likely than from a full ejaculation.
